Hi All! My friend and her boyfriend are making some mistakes is keeping his 3-year old safe in the car. He doesn't seem to think it's a big deal, and she cares a little, but not to the extent she should. I need real anecdotal evidence or data to convince them! Can you help? Their mistakes include:
* Putting her in the front seat in her car seat, and the girlfriend in the back seat holding her 60 pound dog.
* When they put her in the back, they often still have the dog in the back seat with her, also. I am concerned for her if they have an impact as the dog isn't restrained.
* Her shoulder harness straps are VERY loose and don't start above her shoulders.
* The boyfriend suggested that she sit on his lap and he strap her in the same seatbelt as him.
Thanks for reading!
