husky needs "pillows"

Well since I got a new used van with Latch :D I got finally go the Husky for ds 4.5 and moved dd to wizard from AO that wasn't Latch capable.

Thank you all so much for your advice, and information. It was so hard to decide to put ds into the Husky instead of getting Boulevard for dd and keeping ds in Wizard. He was rf up until a few weeks ago. Well atleast I know he will be safe for a long time in a 5 point harness.

This board has been so great!!!

Well now my question is ds does miss his pillows dearly, but loves his new soft kings chair. I bought some fabric to make a pillow. Has anyone found a particular shape that works well. Do I need to worry about making it so it can go behind his head, I was thinking of having a flatter piece of foam for that, with pillows on each side.
What can I say, I get creative. :p

I thought I remembered some of you talking about some type of pillows that you have used.
Thanks!!

LOL, my ds has the same complaint in his Husky (compared to his Parkway, though, he's 8)... There's a thing called the "toddler coddler" that is two contoured pillows and some strings... you can tie the strings behind the seat, through the harness slots, so it's not pushing the head forward at all, or interfering with the harness, but makes a nice side support. If you're clever you can rig one up yourself and save the thirty bucks :)
