I've narrowed it down to 3 boosters...can I get opinions?

Thanks for the recommendation and the site showing which Boosters have come recommended. My husband and I have narrowed it down to the following (in no particular order):

Compass B500
Britax Parkway Booster with Side Impact
Graco Turbo Booster

We're planning on leaving this morning to get the seat, so I really appreciate any help!

Thanks,

Dawn

I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. The Compass is a wide seat, so if your child is on the narrow side, you may find that it's not a good fit. The Parkway doesn't have arm rests, but that doesn't seem to bother the kids. The side impact protection is nice. The TurboBooster is a nice seat as well, but the arm rests don't raise, so if you're buckling in a tight spot, it might be difficult getting your hand in to the buckle.

Comparing the side-impact crash tests from OAMTC, I prefer the "True Side Impact Protection" in the Britax Parkway ... also my stepdaughter can buckle herself in that seat easier than the Graco Turbo because of the armrest issue. The Parkway can be adjusted just as easy as the Graco Turbo, but can't be backless ... I decided to get the Starriser Comfy for when I need a backless booster & as it turns out both the Starriser Comfy & the Parkway can fit in really narrow seating positions ~ the Starriser Comfy due to the obvious fact that it's base adjusts by width & the Parkway due to the fact that it has no armrests. In fact, both fit outboard in my Ford Escape with the RF Wizard in the middle, yet the Parkway is easier to get bukled}. The Compass seems like a nice seat for travel, but a backless seems just as easy for travel so I'm pretty happy with our Parkway & backless Starriser Comfy ;)

However

I forgot something.... Side-impacts aren't nearly as common as frontal impacts, though, so if money is a real issue, then I would choose the Graco Turbo at least: has EPS foam {albeit the wings aren't as deep as teh Parkway} & can be backless for travel
