Does an 01 8 passenger Chevy Venture have latch

here's the info from the 2009 LATCH Manual-

Bucket seats- LATCH on driver's side plus TA center
60/40 bench- LATCH on driver's side only

are you looking to switch out your middle row?

Anyway, I did switch out my middle row from my 2 captain's chairs to the 3 modular seats. They all have TA's but there is no LATCH. It's from an 01 Venture - the guy said, my van is an 02 but they have the same platform.

So was he wrong on the year? I don't mind because the seatbelts work fine and I want a booster in the driver's side seat anyway, but I was expecting LATCH.

weird...but I know in mine the LATCH anchors are really recessed...maybe they're hiding?

Hmmmm....my 01 Venture has little dots to indicate the lower anchors. Does one seat have a built in CR?

No little dots indicating latch and no built in child seat. Which is odd because my '98 Venture had a built in child seat.:confused: I slid my hand between the seat back and bottom on all seats and there are no lower anchors to be found.

Odd. I just checked my van and it was manufactured 9/2000....it was made at the beginning of the 2001 MY, so certainly any 2001 should have LATCH! He must have been wrong about the year. Do the seats have TAs?

All 3 seats have TA's. They all installed easily in my van and the seatbelts all work well - the two outboard use the seatbelts already in my van. I just found it interesting. The seats have a slight pattern to the middle section. They are in really good shape - the cloth parts.

Well I am glad they work for you, although it would have been nice to have LATCH! :)
