I have a Fleet Travel System from Safey 1st. I've tried looking up everywhere what weight it holds but I cannot find anything. Does anyone know?

Also after he outgrows the infant car seat do I upgrade to convertible rear-facing carseat?

Thanks!

Looks like the Fleet Travel System (http://www.safety1st.com/product.asp?productID=898) comes with the Designer 22 car seat. The weight limit on that seat is 22 lb. The weight limit should be listed on a sticker on the seat itself as well as in the instruction manual.

After the infant seat is outgrown, you will definitely need to switch to a rear facing convertible seat. All modern convertibles have rear facing weight limits of 30+ lb. The most popular convertibles include: Cosco Scenera (http://www.coscojuvenile.com/product.asp?productID=2567), Sunshine Kids Radian (http://skjp.com/products/index.php?v=detail&name=Radian65&id=109), Fisher Price Safe Voyage (http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx?st=2011&e=detail&pid=36053), and the Britax seats (Roundabout (http://www.britaxusa.net/products/360_roundabout.aspx), Marathon (http://www.britaxusa.net/products/360_marathon.aspx), Decathlon (http://www.britaxusa.net/products/360_decathlon.aspx), and Boulevard (http://www.britaxusa.net/products/360_boulevard.aspx)). Those seats are a great place to start looking, but you should always remember that the best seat is the one that:
1) Fits your child.
2) Fits your vehicle.
3) Fits your budget.
4) Will be used properly every single trip.

Hope that helps, and please do ask if you have any other questions!
