View Full Version : Missing line thingies

Several of the lines that separate topics are missing on the main car seat forum page (http://www.car-seat.org/forumdisplay.php?f=2) and it's bugging me a bit, though it doesn't hurt anything... Under topics 6, 16, 25, and 35 (counting from the top) there is no longer a line dividing that topic from the next one.

Okay, actually, it's in Carseat Chat and CMCB too. Maybe others.

I'm not seeing any missing lines. What broswer are you using? Do you have any compatibility mode enabled for older web pages?

IE 8 and yes.

Whaddayaknow, it's gone.

If it happens again I'll take a screen shot for ya.

Uh, it's happening again. In Carseat Chat, haven't looked at other forums yet. Trying to get my computer to cooperate for a screenshot right now.

The line between two of the child forums in CMCB (Medical and SCM) is now missing too.

I found the thread where I posted about it before, but I'd deleted the pics from photobucket (or re-arranged).

Grr.

It just went away on it's own (and I'm in firefox too)

(Just curious-- everybody always takes screenshots of their computer. How in the WORLD do you do this? :o)

On a PC it's a button labeled "print screen" I think, it's in between the letters and the numbers, it's been a while since I've been on a PC. On a Mac it's shift command 4 and shift command 3.

Well I pushed it... now where does the picture go? Is it supposed to pop up? Or does it go into a folder? :o

It should just go on your desk top. It will be a ".png" file type. It may be "picture.png."

Or it may just be in your clipboard, you can try pasting it into a program like Word or Paint.

As for the disappearing lines, I don't know of any setting. If it's a browser related issue, I could possibly report it as a bug. I'd definitely need screenshots from people, including the browser and version you are using.

Oh yeah that's what you do. It's been 2.5 years since I've had a PC :crying:. I know I'm the only NPR listening liberal on the planet who doesn't worship at the alter of Steve Jobs.
