Need older minivan recs

I am looking for any info on minivans from 2000-? for under 7500.00 that seat 7-8 passengers.
We live in the middle of nowhere (50 miles RT each day commute to work) so mpg is key. Also interested in safety ratings. Have 2 little ones in carseats and possibly more to come plus car pooling.
Any suggestions, advice, info is welcome.

do you still need suggestions? I'm no good with minivans!
but you can go to www.informedforlife.org and get crash test ratings... but only back until 2003 I think.
