I installed our Marathon RF on the other captains chair in my van so you could see the Marathon and the Scenera side by side. I didn't attach the tether on the MA since it was just for a minute, but you can see how they compare. It's not a whole lot of difference...especially since you can brace the MA and the Scenera can't be touching the front seat (at least I swear I read that, but I can't find it in the manual right now!). I do have my Scenera pretty reclined (not 45 degrees, but not 30 either.)

Thanks! I don't know that that would make much difference. I may get one anyway. I think we're just hardpressed to get a rearfacing seat in there. He is big enough to forwardface, just his seat doesn't fit at all that way.

(He's almost two, and really, she's only up here maybe three times a year. She doesn't like my driving, so we use her truck. LOL)

I don't think the Scenera has a rule about touching the front seat. The Evenflo seats used to, though.
