Hello,

I did a quick search and couldn't find the answer to my question already on the forum. I apologize in advance if this has already been answered elsewhere.

I went to the Britax website and wanted to get the specs of my DD's MA. I used the drop-down menus to choose the model and the date of manufacture (Sept. 17`07). It told me there were no manuals or specs to display - couldn't find a thing! Can anyone please tell me the specs of her seat - max. weight (she's FF'ing) and height?

thanks in advance,
Lisa_from_Toronto

For weight limits, you can easily get them from the stickers affixed on the seat or in the user's manual. Short of that, I think my MA with DOM in Nov 2007 is definitely 30 lbs rf and 30 lbs rf limit as been in for a while for Canadian MA.

I don't know about height but my MA that is a late 2007 DOM is 30RF/65FF.

I don't know the exact date, but I know *about* halfway through 2007 was when the FF limits went from 48lbs to 65lbs. I remember in October of 07 there were 65lb FF'ing seats, and in Feb. 2007 there were not.

Most children outgrow the MA by height before weight FFg. As Tam pointed out, the weight/height for your particular seat should be clearly set out on the labels on the seat.

:yeahthat:

I believe that the change happened right around Sept/ Oct 2007. My sister bought one of the first 65lb MAs when she was visiting me in Oct 2007.

I got mine in September 07 and they were the first of the 65lb. FF models.

Yes, Sept 2007 was when the ff'ing weight limit changed from 48lbs to 65lbs. It should be listed on the stickers of the seat though.

In the event the stickers are missing, the seat no longer meets standards and should be replaced - especially if you're not the original owner. Britax may also be able to send you a replacement manual in the mail. :)

Oh - and one other thought - you may need to check out the retired products to find your owners manual online... But the installation instructions have remained the same and the weight/height limits will be clearly listed on the stickers on your seat as others have said.
