Yes, isn't it something?
I don't think I'm buying one, but kudos to Dorel for releasing it here at the same (give or take) time it's available in the US.
The price is outragous, but so are a lot of Canadian seat prices these days. I think these companies have all had round tables together or something.

Dorel being the gander is what has me amazed.

Thats interesting! Although I'm a bit sad to see its only 50lbs FF for $299.99 I would rather spend that on a Radian.

same here. If I could spend $300 on a new seat, it would definitely be a Radian.

Ya, it as posted in the main thread on this seat awhile back, then the link went bad, then they put it back up on the 1st and I commented how annoyed I was that it only said 35#. Now, it doesn't mean that's correct. Does anyone have time to call Dorel and ask about the RF weight for Canada? TRU/BRU could just be copying/pasting text from other seats.
I could care less about the poundage FF because I'm a proponent of a good HW RF seat and then a good FF seat, none of this dual RF/FF crap. :D I want it to RF to 40 pounds, then I can toss it if it doesn't work FF and get a FF harnessed/booster.

I was going to email yesterday, but I never got around to it.

I will sheepishly admit that I paid more than that for a Marathon in 2005. At that time, the next best seat in Canada was what? A Comfortsport? The Eddie Bauer 3-in-1?

You are not alone :) I spent money on an MA for my dd#1 when she was already 5 yrs old. At the time, it was the ONLY seat with high top harness slots (way before Radian (and others) came out). She lasted in it for another yr before outgrowing it.
And way way way back, I spent that much and more for the Roundabout when the RA was the only Britax seat in Canada :)
Boy, have we come a long way and yay for progress
