Hello,
Does any know the safety features that come standard with the Tahoes? My husband and I are in the market for a larger SUV and we really like the Tahoes/Yukons. We would be buying one with a third row. Is there a certain year that's better than the rest? Also, what was the average MPG? Thank you so much!

We have a 2006 Yukon XL(8 seater)...it apparently has a really high rollover rate(didn't know this when we bought it). How many car seats do you need to install? I find it really awkward to get into the back row to buckle little ones in....it would definitely be better if you have older kids who can climb in on their own. It has two latch(outboard passenger and middle) in middle row and three top tethers and back row has one top tether.
If you test drive, install not only your car seats, but take your stroller to put in the back cargo area(especially if it's kind of big), you will likely find there is less space then you think there might be.
It is nice to drive, we have leather and LOVE the heated seats. Hmmm....what else....it does power through the gas pretty good, as will any big vehicle, but it's not totally awful. I'm actually looking to get a Sienna:whistle: It is roomy in the seating area....we have two MA's, both outboard in the middle row and can fit an adult between them.
HTH a bit, I'm likely forgetting something so hopefully someone will jump in with some other thoughts.

I would only have to install two carseats. One MA, and one Recaro Como. The MA my daughter is RF in, and the Como my neice is FF in. We are planning on having another baby though in 2-3 years.
