Are the cheapest SS1s still $100? Any cheaper? What does the Mia feel like in person? And how about nectar? The nectar looks like like it isn't comfy, but maybe that is just the pic. TIA.

The nectar looks to be the same fabric as my Ionic and I hate it. It's a slippery material and made my kiddo sweat in winter! Awful.

I think Maggie's right on the feel of nectar.

I have a Roxy safeseat which is similar to Ionic. We only had a problem with the heat in the dead of summer. I liked the fact that it was easy to wipe off. I think Nectar would be less of a problem (heat-wise) since it is lighter gray - my Roxy was mostly black.

I don't know Mia. When I bought my safeseat, only the really pricey ones came with the soft, cottony fabrics.

That was one plus. Baby spit up never soaked in, I could just wipe it up with a wipe. :p

I have one in portica and it is cotton. It stays cool because of the cotton fabric and the light gray color. I don't know if that pattern is still around though...

I think the Mia is pretty soft...not cottony, but more like a microfiber.
