View Full Version : Question Baby Jogger City Elite measurement???

Can somebody give me true measurements on this stroller when it is folded??
I am really close to buying one but I am scared it might not fit in the back of my van. I don't want to order it and then have to send it back if it doesn't fit. I know the website has the dimensions but I am scared they might not be accurate...

The single or double? I have the single...I can get you some measurements after my daughter wakes up. It actually folds pretty small when you take the wheels off (well, compared to other full-size strollers). I was very surprised at how small the box was when I got it.

It will fit. All of the wheels pop right off if need be. It's not a small stroller by any means though.

I am looking at the single..I guess that little bit of information would help...

I need to be able to put it in the area behind my rear bench seat. I have about 15-16 inches from the back of the seat to the door when it is closed.

It is a Mazda MPV minivan.

I will have to stand the stroller on its side rather than lay it flat, that is why I am concerned with the measurement. I saw in on of your threads (I think it was yours) where someone had a picture of one of the BJCM folded down with a measuring tape beside it. It was only about 7 inches, so I know I can get that stroller if I have to. But, I would rather get the elite.

Okay, I measured...I'm getting around 10.5-11 inches at the tallest part with the tires removed. You might get it smaller than that if you squeeze hard. Here's some pics...the measurement one isn't the greatest, but it was hard to hold my heavy camera and the tape measure at the same time lol :-)

I ordered a 2008 Brown/Tan Elite from Albee Baby for $279.99...No tax and no shipping---woohoo...

I am really excited about getting this stroller. I can't wait.
