After lusting over a Maclaren Volo (mostly for in our Wrangler) I decided get the Salsa when I found it on sale at Costco.com for about $60. I love my Zooper Rhumba and they have a full refund (including shipping) return policy if you return it to the store, so I figured I couldn't lose. Overall, I like it a lot. I took some pics comparing it to the Volo since I really wanted to know how they compared before I bought it.

Here is what I came up with that I like better about one or the other:

Volo- The way the fabric is in the head area would be better for
sleeping/resting. It sort of leans back without reclining instead of pushing the head forward a little.

Salsa- Larger wheels, and they have "tread" on them that makes it just
slightly not as smooth feeling on really smooth floors. Not really better or
worse, just different.

Salsa- It's not as tippy with stuff on the back. This is just a personal
thing that I really like.

IMO, they are the same hight, about the same look, and push with the same
ease on a smooth BRU floor. The Salsa seat is a little wider. I would guess the Salsa might be slightly better on a rough surface, but who knows. My Salsa (Costco.com) was also quite a bit cheaper than I have seen any 06 Volo. The Mac may look just a little more "showy" than the Salsa, but that's really subjective and I can get over it for the difference in price.

The Mac Volo that I was comparing it with must have been the new 07 model
because the logo was a little different, and BRU also had new Triumps (I like
them a lot better than the old ones) in and the 06s on sale, but only about $10 off.

Just wanted to tell you that the link to your photos is not a hyperlink and it looks abbreviated somehow....but all in all , have you had a chance to use it and how do you like it? I have never seen one in person, but I saw a Volo in a Target that is not my usual Target, so they have more stuff. My daughter had to get in it and test drive it! Of course, we don't need it, since I just bought my Quest not too long ago, but, I think I might order one online with a coupon because we are going to Florida in the Spring and I think it will be a great spare to take on the trip. I am just crazy with strollers- I guess it could be worse:o That sounds like a great deal on your salsa- I hope you're lovin' it!

Im looking for a new umbrella stroller and saw the volo at target and had to play with it. I liked it but not the fabric(plastic mesh?). I need one that will go up to about 55lbs and large enough to fit a child that size and still push well. DS is too difficult to push in his umbrella now. I have a mid sized stroller that I use for when we will be at the mall or a store a while but the umbrella for quick in and out.
Also I need it cheap.

So how do you like this one so far?

Ya know..... I didn't like the fabric on the Volo very much either when I first got mine. But, let me tell you, it's a breeze to clean and Ian never once was sweaty in it in the HOT NC summers we get down here. He loved that stroller!!

Thanks, I dunno though. We have some issues with textures(ok its me, me I tell you! Im grown and still have a problem lol!) and also it was more than I paid for my mid sized stroller WOW. So I am hoping to find a good deal on one. I will have to get a great deal in order to justify it lol! But I still love to stroll him and figure I will until he is just too big to stroll(which I do not think 3yo is too big so we still have time).

You should have told me you were looking for one. I just sold Ian's on Ebay yesterday for $32 :p
Check at TJMaxx- that's where I got his originally for only $40!
