how much would you pay?

why am I even considering it? I don't need a double, ds's head is was almost against the canopy and his feet were over the metal rail if he straightened his legs at all.

but it was cool! I just wish we had an idea of if/when/where we are moving.

it was red, btw.

My MBUD was a floor model. I think I paid around $100-$150 off retail. It was so cool - it was navy, and had the double Skip Hop red diaper bag hanging off the handle. I said I wanted the whole thing - stroller & bag. I paid for it, put the kids in it, and wheeled out of the store!:D Love that stroller!

This is the way I look at...if the price is a price I could turn around and sell it for within the next year then I would get it.

MBUDs are awesome strollers, but here are my complaints about it (note: These are just complaints, I have ALOT of praise though for this stroller):

Price (well, duh!)

A little too short for me (I am 5'10")

Although the metal footrest is easy to clean up and holds up well, it can make it awkward for kids to climb up in the stroller, and can get hurt on it if they slip.

Too thin of a harness (think twisty), not enough positions (think for a newborn), and they are hard to adjust

Seatback not tall enough

Fold is awkward to me, and I always feel like I am going to pinch my fingers

My tires always had issues staying inflated. Apparently, this a common problem.

So, what was the price? How does moving factor into your decision? I didn't know you were moving, btw.

well, if I say the price someone local might snag it. ;)

we're not moving for sure. we're hoping. dh is looking. he's self employed right now and we like everything except our location. it would have to be the perfect position for him to go back to a corporate job. if we do move, we're planning to find something a bit more... urban. I've been trying to convince him to just sell our house (though it's an awful time for it) and rent in the city until we decide where we're going. that's why I'm even considering a double. ds is a great little hiker, but I can't expect him to walk all the time.

PM? :p

The MBUD is probably one of the better 4-wheeled air tire strollers for the city given it's compactness. It is, like I said, on the shorter side, but it's also shorter in length compared to others. It's width is just fine as well for going in and out of doors.

It's superb, and unmatched turning ability makes it easy to whip around in an elevator or inside a shopping area. And, since the wheels are under the stroller (IYKIM?) you don't have to worry about taking a leg off of an instant bystander :o Or knocking over a display LOL

Honestly, unless the price was just totally killer, I'd probably just get the BJCMD. Although it doesn't have air tires, it's extra large 8inch plastic wheels don't do horribly bad in some all terrain situations. Locking them while pushing makes it even easier.

Now if a stroller company would just figure out a way for us to switch out our wheels, it would be perfect!
