That's very kind of you, :) but I suspect the shipping would be as much as the seat itself (dang Canada Post. :thumbsdown:) I saw a whole rack of them not so long ago, but I can't remember where (of course we pass through about a dozen CTs in a 200km radius, so it's not so easy to narrow down. :rolleyes:)

Were they clearanced, or did you have to negotiate?

You couldn't find them a while back, but recently (w/in the last 2-3 wks) techs have told me they found them at CT now. So maybe they found a few in the warehouse somewhere :)

Okay, I thought they were hard to find awhile ago. I know our CT has always had 2 on the shelf everytime i've gone in there but I have never seen them for $34.93. We've been test driving and i'm tired of hauling out seats and installing and then un-installing and then installing and un-installing several times a day. I find the MA easy to do and we were using the frontier as a booster for the test drives but it is just so heavy to transport and carry across a lot with a baby and a MA. Anyways it will be our emergency seat :thumbsup:

That's a great price! I had picked up 2 at my CT a while back when they were down to $44 a piece. I would have waited but didn't want to lose out on owning a couple of these in case they came in handy some day... :)

CT in CDN, Montreal has 2 in stock. On the box it says it was shipped 10/2008. I didn't open to check the inside, since my DH was waiting outside with the kids. I would love to get one, but by the time my DS will be 40 lbs., this will probably be expired!!

People who are local to me (you know who you are!), there are at least 4 Otos in stock at the Cdn Tire beside Costco, for $34.99. The display model has a DOM of 2006. I passed b/c I figure there will be even better LBBs on the market by the time the girls need one.

My two had DOM of Aug and Sep 2006.

I WAS wanting one, but now I have two backless turbos, a monterey, and two parkways. (And only 2 booster age kids) I don't know that I can justify it anymore.

I looked at CT in Langley a couple weeks ago and they were Aug/06 DOMs for $59.99!

It was a 2006. I can't remember what the month was but I can check later. My box was sealed.

They were discontinued quite a long time ago already, which is why you are only finding an old DOM. That's also why you found them on sale.
