DD is now hoovering at 30lbs, after dinner with clothes on no shoes

We have a 30lb rfing BLvd and RN. We still haven't gotten anything for dh's mustang as he hasn't gotten teethers in it yet.

The Scerena is on sale at Zellers for $80 this week and it rfs to 35lbs.

My idea was put the Radian ffing in dh's mustang (although I LOVE my pricness cover) for the summer and put the Scerena in my SUV that she is in daily.

THen when we go to the cottage put the scerena in dh's car, civic as we normally take that when we go.

Once the summer is over depending on where dd's weigh is, keep her rfing in the Scerena and have the Radian collecting dust (it is ony a 48lb seat)

Then next summer (or when dd hits 35lbs )put the scerena in the mustang, if it will fit and the Radian back in my SUV.

How long will the scerena last??? DD is likely to outgrow it by weight before heigh??

She is 2 in August, 30lbs and about 36 inches.

I would totally do it for extra time RF, since she is under 2yo. I haven't had to push the height on theScenera yet, would be interested to know what others say about it's longevity in terms of weight vs height.

Yes, a Scenera would be a good option. She's too young to go ff IMO. :o

It's hard to say w/o seeing her, but I'm guessing she'll hit 35lbs before she's too tall to rf in the Scenera... or possibly she'll hit 1" and 35lbs around the same time.

Either way, I think your plan makes sense. :)

Have a great summer, sounds like fun.

ETA: I wonder if you could fit a rf AO in your dh's car if the base was removed? Sometimes they're on sale for $122, and with 17" top slots, epp foam, and a 50lb harnessing limit, you might get more longterm use out of it. Hmmm...

Yeah, if she's not incredibly long torso'ed she should still fit in the scenera. She may not fit it ff'ing by the time she outgrows it rf'ing, but you should get a good while use out of it.

With her being under 2yrs old and you needing another seat anyways, I think it's worthwhile. I 2nd Angie that it's worth trying the AO though if you can get it to work. It would last longer in the harness both by height and weight.

Oh never thought about that one, might have to check it out.

As for fitting into dh's car with base removed, I can always keep it in my SUV with the Radian ffing in dh's mustang (no rfing seat will fit with use of the passenger seat, we have tried) for summer use and then put the Radian back in my SUV for winter use.

THanks i will go pick oen up and see how it goes

NOTE TO DH, GET TO FORD AND PUT IN A TEETHER
