Well, the good news is the RN XT fits nicely in the middle of my Camry
The bad news is, I can't get any of our boosters in beside it :hitselfonhead:
To settle a disagreement, please tell me what you think of the belt fit on Greg (8 yrs, 75lbs).

The belt doesn't fit. He's not bending his knees at the edge either, he's using his foot against the front seat to push himself back.
What boosters do ya got? I have a Corolla, which is smaller than the Camry and I can get a Turbo and Evenflo Confidence on either side of a Radian. THere was another booster I could fit in beside the RN too, but I'll be darned if I remember what one. Protek maybe?

Monterey and Clek Olli. I could try my inlaw's turbo. The trouble is that side bolster that pushes everything to the middle.

Grab one of those Britax boosters on albeebaby... they are $79.99 - the old parkway. It doesn't have arm rests - I bet you'd get that in there no problem.
Did you try the clek without using latch?

I've got a parkway, but Greg's butt doesn't fit in it anymore. He was scooching forward putting the lapbelt up on his belly.
I'd bet a FPSVD booster would be perfect, but we don't have them in Canada.

What about an Oto? I just saw my Canadian Tire has two of them. They are marked down to $35.

Mine has the bolsters too. The Confidence fits the best, because the back is very curvy and rounded and it goes around the bolsters just perfectly. It also has no armrests, which is a plus. The TB is wider than the Olli, and it is a tight fit for buckling, but if the kiddo leans out toward the door and tips the booster slightly while buckling it is doable. Now if you are LATCHING the Olli, that isn't going to work at all. Maybe try the Monterrey backless too. The RN and the Monterrey puzzle in such a way that there is a 6-7 inch gap below the armrests.
You could also try a Cosco Ambassador/Highrise.

I'll take a drive by there today! If I could just take one arm rest off of the Olli, it would fit perfect, LMAO.

The confidence is a HBB though, right? If Greg is too tall for the HB TB, he is probably too tall for it too.
I wasn't trying to latch to Olli, but I just couldn't cram it in there so that the back of the Olli was anywhere near the seat bight. I'll take a pic later.
I did try the Monterey backless, it was a definite no go also.
I'm going to look for the Oto the other poster mentioned, because that might totally work.
Part of the issue is that my hubby just wants me to suck it up and drive the van once the baby is here, and I don't want to give up my car. I know 3 across is possible, I just need the right combination! I had it with the parkway, too bad my big kid had to grow!

I hope you find an Oto...mine fits next to the RN (when it's FF, at least). I absolutely won't let my kids go boosterless till their feet are flat on the floor, butt all the way back. And even then I still hate how the belt rides on my 5ft tall 90 pound almost 12 year old's belly!

My husband is pretty good about just going with the flow in terms of carseats/boosters, but he seems to feel that our big 8 yr old really should fit ok. Thus, our disagreement last night! He told me to post here, and read the comments, so I think that is solved.
I'm going to look at the Oto later today, hopefully I can find one on sale. I suppose I should have bought one of those instead of the Olli, but I liked the big armrests...

Did you find a Oto? I just got one at our CT for $34 and they have one more there. I think it would cost about $14 to ship.

The Confidence fit my oldest DD for at least a year and a half after she got too tall for the Turbo, but in any case, it can also be used backless.
