I thought I was settled on wanting the BJ City Elite Double - now I have a few questions about it.
I was at a store today and tried out the BJ Mini Double with my 1 year old son and the seat seemed so narrow. Is the Elite bigger? It seems like even in the upright position it's quite a bit laid back still - has anyone's kids ever seemed bugged by this?
I have to get the Elite because hubby is 6FT and needs a handle that raises.
Anyone know of any deals going on for the 2008 model?
Thanks!

I'd like to know, too. On the search myself...

I can't answer your questions about the seat width, etc...but I noticed that the brown/tan 2008 BJCED is on sale at Albee Baby for $429.99 with free shipping. I just bought that color in the single version, and I like the color a lot more than I thought I would.

I own a BJCED, got a good deal on a 2008 a few months ago. All in all I have been very happy, just be ready to lift 46 lbs!

IIRC the two you mentioned are the same width, but the elite has a taller seat back. This was one of the reasons I went with the elite. The canopy was hitting my 3 yo head when not extended in the mini.

I think all the seats are a little slouchy. My kiddos try to sit more upright at first when I put them in, but then they settle in and don't seem to mind. I use this for long walks, and they just sort of relax. I don't have a belly bar, but I think this might help a child to pull up if they wanted to see something (like at the zoo)
