Please check out my TF RF angle, this is for a 22 month old. It looks a bit reclined to me but he hasn't complained yet. :) He loves his seats. thumbsup: If it is too reclined I'll take any advice with this seat how to make it more upright. This is installed in a 2003 Kia sedona van. Thanks

It's not overreclined, I don't think, but for an older child I'd want it a little more upright :)

I spy with my little eye something that is pink and grey in that pic.
Do tell...
To get the TF a bit more upright, try pulling it away from the seatcrack a bit. Then push down on the seat where his feet would be while you tighten the UAS strap. Remember that First Years says it can't be more upright than 35 degrees though. Keep in mind the lockoffs can sometimes dictate how upright or reclined the seat can be... closing them is sometimes tough depending on the angle of installation. It might take you a few tries to get things just right. :)

It's not overreclined. It looks just a smidge more upright than 45 in that second pic-- like maybe 43 or something, hard to guess. If that's straight on I'd say it could be more upright but it's not overreclined.

I tried doing that with my TF (sporty blue c630). Got my knee into the seat to push down real hard, locked off the seat belt, then checked it for the "should not move more than 1" in ANY direction" warning in the manual.
It was pretty solid in every direction except up - towards the rear of the vehicle. There was quite a bit of movement that way, and each time I lifted it, it would seem to shift away from the seatcrack and become looser in the other directions.
Can you give me a step by step on creating that space and getting a secure fit? The way I have the seat now I can hardly get to the harness adjuster & release tab.
Thanks,

You are right, There is something pink and grey:D I had to ask a really nice person in the States to order the cover for me and get it shipped to a US address and then later got it from them. It was for DD 5th b-day. she loves it, I think she would have liked the Daisy one much better but in Jan that was not available. I sure hope there will be some cool boy covers out in 2-3 years time
I didn't try to reinstall my seat yet but I may try soon. Is it necessary to get an more upright angle for a toddler? It only takes me minutes to install this seat and it is rock solid!!! (at the angle shown).
