I had some free time today and since my niece's frontier didnt get collected yet, I decided to play around with the installation again because I really think I'll get one for DS when the time comes. Please check my install using the LBP. My concerns are:

(1) The seatbelt is stretched to the limit, I had to kneel with both knees in the seat to gete it in. Is there such thing as too much strain on the belt? I really had to press hard on the seat.

(2) THe frontier is all the way to the door (see pics). Is that too close to the door? The belt wont be long enough if I move it more inside.

(3) The belt is not fully on the red belt paths (see pics) is that ok?

(4) The long belt path goes round the back of the seat (on the outside not between the cover and plastic) after going around the belt path right?

The install looks great from the photos, I wouldn't be concerned about the seatbelt placement on the red sections the belt doesn't appear twisted or bunched up at all so it looks good.

Is it in rock solid? You showed the photos and the belt path looks right but you didn't talk about movement.

Can you or is the seat as far back as it will go? If it isn't you can try that to give you more play with the amount of seatbelt you have to work with and it might be enough to move the seat a tad bit further away from the door but if it doesn't I wouldn't sweat it.

THanks for looking at it. THe seat moves way less than an inch so I'm not worried about movement, it seems secure. I am worried about the closeness to the door though. I fiddled with the seatbelt in all ways I could to get some more to work with but that was it. The seat cant go back further. This seat has to be installed in another vehicle same as this so I wanted to practice on the install. I would personally feel better with it in the center but the car doesnt have a tether anchor center. No LATCH.
