I'm looking for a high weight ffing/booster seat for a friend. Are her only options the Nautilus and Frontier if she doesn't want an Apex? She's going to ToysRUs and doesn't want to have to order online.
Also, is there much difference between the two seat? Is it worth the extra $100 for the Frontier? Thanks!

There's also the Evenflo Generations. Harnesses to 47 lbs in Canada with decently high harness slots (though not as high as the Frontier or Nautilus, I believe). From what I've heard, it makes a decent booster. Much less expensive than the other seats, if the child isn't likely to outgrow the harness at 47 lbs before needing a booster.

I think it depends on who you ask. For me the $100 is worth it for the following reasons;
The Frontier is wider, so for my son would be comfortable longer.
The Frontier has a full 9 years before expiry; the GN is 6 for the HBB and Harness, and 9 for the LBB portion.
The Frontier goes higher in HBB mode.

I had a Frontier and am getting a Nautilus (have to replace Frontier due to car accident). The Frontier has horrible seat fabric that frays which is not washable, great for potty training accidents, or car sickness! Other than that I liked it, but not enough to buy another one.
