All this discussion of the TruFit LATCH strap needing to be in the Lockoff has made me wonder about the Como DD rides in in my mother's car. Is it suppossed to be in the lockoff/belt guide? Is that the case with most seats? I of course read the manual, but now I'm worried I missed something and I can't get to the seat to check right now.

I believe the TF is one of the very few seats requiring routing of LATCH straps through the lockoff, but the respective seat's manuals are the ultimate source for this info. :) The lower LATCH straps are not supposed to be routed through the lockoff/belt guides on your Como (or Recaro Signo), which are only intended to be used by the vehicle seatbelt. The lower LATCH connectors straps are not supposed to be routed through the lockoffs on Britax convertible seats, either.

Thanks. I didn't remember the manual saying to do it, but got worried that I had screwed up when all the discussion of LATCH straps in lockoffs came up with the TruFit.
