I'm wondering where the latch belt and/or seat belt (I know not at the same time, but wondering if it matters either way) would go in relation to the crotch buckle. should it be infront or behind or doesn't it matter. It seems like mine is would go in this order rear seat back, latch strap, crotch buckle, child. Does the LS need to be behind the CB? I believe that it is currently set for the smaller position if that makes a difference.

Also, how do you tell what angle you are at? Mine seems ok, but maybe it is too upright; I was trying for 35* as DD is 13 months and has great head control. (I do plan to take it to a seat check before we actually use it...DD can still fit in her SS1 with room to spare)

Thanks for posting in another thread that you can twist the female end of the seat belt three times! I was having to only install it w/ latch, it is nice to know I have options.

Can I still use the infant head support or is that only for under 22# also. I took the padding out because she is very close to 22# but wasn't sure if I could just use the head rest that goes around the harness. (I don't know that she needs it, but she just seems so little in there)

thanks,
Andrea

Doesn't the latch strap have to be locked through the lockoffs? If so, I don't think it's possible to get it in the wrong position relative to the crotch buckle.... I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure the lockoffs are kinda far from the crotch buckle.

it does need to be in the lock offs, which is where I have it. Maybe I'm just over thinking this. But I remember with other seats I've used that they specified where it needs to be in relation to the buckle.

I think you have it right if it is as you say - vehicle seat, latch strap in lockoffs, crotch buckle, child. I remember mine being that way, but I'm going from memory. Hopefully someone else can confirm.

Yes that's right. That's why, on the older models with 3 crotch buckle positions, you can't use the outermost crotch buckle position while RF (it would interfere with the LATCH strap or seatbelt).

The infant body support has to come out at 22lbs but the little head piece that goes around the harness can still be used if you'd like.
