The instructions say the seatbelt cna be routed either underneath or over the cover.

But when it says underneath, does it mean under the grey pad under the cover, or between that "pad" and the cover?

yes. ;)

I prefer under the gray comfort foam, but I don't think it matters. If it's able to route over both the foam and cover, then over just the foam isn't going to affect the install. :twocents:

:yeahthat: I go under the comfort foam, so the kiddo gets all that plushness under them. No point in compressing it, KWIM?

For quick seat moving I do over the cover installs, i.e. taxis, carpooling, etc.
