Can I put my 3 yr old sons car seat in the front seat with me if my car does not have a passenger side air bag?

If it is absolutely your only alternative, you may be able to seat your son in front. I would highly recommend a visit to a local technician for a free evaluation before you do this. They can help you determine which passenger would be safest in front, and how to seat them in the safest manner.

Even without an airbag, the risk of fatal injury is 30% higher for kids in the front seat. We recommend all kids 12 and under be seated in the back seat with an appropriate restraint.
