I have a 7-passenger 2005 Kia Sedona LX and I am trying to figure out the safest place for a booster seat and an rear-facing infant seat. The van has 2 captain seats on the sides in the second row and a bench seat with 3 seats in the third row. Where shall I place these 2 seats for the children to be safest? And should I use the lower anchors for either of these seats?

For use of the lower anchors, you will need to refer to your vehicle owner's manual. It will show you where you have the use of the lower anchors. If you want to install the infant seat in a seating position that does not have LA's, please check here before you 'borrow' them. Only some vehicle and carseat manufacturers allow it, and you need to make sure both say it's ok. We have techs here who can look it up for you.

I would probably put both the booster and the infant seat in the second row captains chairs, provided I could get proper installs. And I would put the kiddos on whatever side is most convenient for you.

Hope that helps. :)
