I had a Peanut Shell with my DD, but am looking for something more adjustable this time around. Plus I expect I will need my hands free now that I will also be chasing after an active toddler this time around.
I like the looks of the Moby, but will it work for nursing a newborn ? I should also mention that I have *ahem* large breasts (36 K.) Any other suggestions to try?

No suggestions for the larger chest. I'm a C at most, and that only lasts a week or two when Im nursing!
With DS2 I've found my favorite carrier is my MT. I have an Angelpack and since he was 4 weeks old it's almost all I have used. He loves to be tummy to tummy and I just fold his little legs in the carrier. He just started wearing legs out a week or two ago. I can nurse in it much better than a sling and it's more secure for chasing after DS1 and more comfy for me. I've just started using my Beco too, but I think the MT will be my favorite until he isn't nursing as much or until I want him on my back all the time.
He will sit tummy to tummy in the sling, but it's not as comfy and he would only lay it in when he was 5 weeks and under. I also can't nurse unless my arm is holding him up in the sling.

I have to say, as a large-chested woman, I've found very few slings and wraps that aren't uncomfortable. I like wearing the Moby ok but I can't nurse in it. A ring sling is the ONLY sling I can nurse in and I don't do that often, because it's difficult even with a newborn. I like ring slings for the adjustability, though; I feel much more secure with a ring sling than a pouch sling, I'm always fretting the baby will fall because they just don't fit me well, I guess. Either they're too small and my breasts are squished, or they're too large and the baby's not secure...

I love my Moby... but I'm a 34C, so I can't speak as to its fit with larger breasts. The wrap is definitely more secure than a sling or pouch and I'm much more comfortable being hands-free than with any of the carriers I've had.

Thanks ladies. Can anyone post pics of a newborn laying in one? I checked out their websites but didn't see any of those. I was considering an Ergo with the baby insert.

I make ring slings. They are the most versitile and portable IMO. I am larger chested, too. I was able to sit and nurse DS and use the tail to cover, but I never mastered nursing on the go (he had latch issues so I had to hold the whole time for many, many months). I used a ring sling when DS was a newborn, and still occasionally use one for a hip carry with him now, at 21 months.

I LOVE my MOBY. My fav way for River is her laying down. I latched her on yesterday and it held her high enough that she was able to nurse and I had both hands free to help Seth with something. I am a 38C.
I don't have pics but can get some maybe tomorrow.
I want another Moby. One for in the house and one for the van. I can wrap it in like 2 min and it doesnt hurt my neck. :)
I also have a pocket cling and a Bjorn and have had a Mai Tei and ring sling. The Moby is by far my fav...

Oh, that would be great! Anytime in the near future actually. I am just starting to look and am 28 weeks pregnant. But pics would help so much. :D

I can't nurse in anything but a mei tie....it to hard to adjust the wrap. Best place to look would be thebabywearer.com and ask the ladies there.

I really liked my moby. I'm fairly large chested. I'm normally at 34 DD, but who knows what I am while BFing. Traditional slings scare me; they seem unsecure, but that's just my opinion.
I never tried nursing in it, but I wouldn't guess that it would be difficult to adjust. My son did not like swaddling, so I don't think he would have liked a traditional sling. I didn't use it for very long (DS got heavy and the weather got hot) but it was a total lifesaver for the first few months. He had a lot of gas, and could only be comforted by being held. Some nights I walked him back and forth across the living room for an hour.
There is definitely a learning curve for it. Once you get the hang of it, it's great.

A ring sling!
I love my Maya one. I am larger chested and it works great, fits great & I easily nurse in it.

I just got a sleepy wrap from my sister's friend, and I really like it. It is very comfy to wear. I also have a ring sling, but Kezi doesn't like it a whole lot. She prefers the wrap.

Sorry to hijack!
Did you make your own or did you have someone make it for you? I had a place to make me a ring sling but they stopped taking orders. DS is due in 7 weeks and I want a ring sling so bad. I already bought the fabric.
