my brake is messed up and mountain buggy has mailed me 4 brakes and none of them work, I wish I was kidding. First one they send me where it poked through to the wheel was too long, so the break was always on, the second two they sent that part was too short and wouldn't stick out at all, never even got to the wheel, the last one they sent that part was the right length but the overall length was too long. I tried to get it on anyway and it would not go on and is now totally bent.
Any ideas? It is really annoying not having a break and I was planning to use the stroller for the next 3 years! Benjamin is almost 6 and STILL rides in as much as Elizabeth!
I can't call them until Monday, customer service is closed on Fridays but I'm not at all confident that they will ever send me one that works.

ha sorry I mean brake. I'm horrible at spelling I for some reason posting from my ipod makes it worst, not sure why that is exactly.
I don't have time to take pictures right now maybe next week.

Okay the new one worked for a while but then I had the same issue I had before where it was sticking out too much through the wheel, so basically the brake was always on a bit and I would have this annoying click, click click whenever it was in motion. I attempted to flip it hoping that would solve the problem but it didn't work and now I've bent it so much it now doesn't do anything at all. I attempted to put the old one on because at one time it worked on one side so at least the stroller wouldn't roll away but it doesn't work either. This really is a bad design, I don't think the brake is really a replaceable part because in order to get it on you have to bend it so much that it no longer works.
I'm not sure when it happened but now the little hole where the brake goes through is broken a bit. It don't think the back axle is a replaceable part at all, I don't see a way to remove it. I'm e-mailing MB to see if I mailed it to them if they could look at it, offering to pay for shipping and to have it fixed, but I doubt there is anything they can do.
Any other ideas?
There were some cheap MBUS a while back and I seriously considered getting one as a back up! I wish I had! :(
Here are the pictures for those who are curious.
