The lower spring pins on the footboard and headboard can pop out of the tracks located on the drop side causing the drop side to detach from the crib. When the drop side detaches, it creates a hazardous gap between the drop side and the crib mattress in which infants and toddlers can become entrapped and suffocate or fall from cribs.

Oh, this'll be fun at work.... for the poor furniture department people ;) :p
We have a strict new rule to never sell floor model cribs anymore, not sure if they have injured kids, but since ALL of them seem to be recalled, the paperwork needs to be definitely perfect, and that can't be assured on the floor models, I guess.

Kind of a hijack, but I didn't realize the Pinehurst had been made with a dropside. We have them at work, but they don't have a drop side. (Maybe a CDN/US difference though?)
