Yesterday, I was planning on going to a Target that carries the True Fit convertible car seat in the store and purchasing it no discounts or anything. After searching and searching for a deal & hoping the premier would come out, I got worried that my baby has gotten too big for his Snugride and that I HAD to at least one and try it out.
It just so happen that on the way to the store my baby fell asleep, so I decided to go to a BabiesRus first since the ride is longer giving him time to nap. When we got to the shopping complex I saw a Target & I asked my husband to stop at the curb so I could go in and check to see if on the off chance the carried it even though I had called a week before and checked. (they said they didnt carry it in the store). As I walked up to the aisle that carries the carseats, I saw a box that said true fit!!!! I rushed over to find it was in fact a true fit & not only that clearanced for $125!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it wasnt the color I was looking for but I didnt care. Its the Casino color, which after looking at it at home, is ok.
Maybe when the True Fit Premier comes out we can sell this one & get it instead ;) For now, I just have to figure out how to install it in my 4Runner & then we are off to cushier & hopefully happier rides (my baby hates carseats). Has Anyone installed a True Fit in a 4Runner?
