:rolleyes: I am trying to be patient as I ANXIOUSLY await the arrival of our My Ride, ordered from Kids-N-Cribs.com a few weeks ago. This evening I arrived back home after stepping out to run some errands. My 13 year old son said, "Mom, the UPS guy came & he asked me how old I was, but I couldn't sign for the package because he said I wasn't old enough...he said he'll be back tomorrow at this time....." :eek:
To my knowledge, I'm not expecting anything else other than this car seat that "MIGHT" arrive via UPS, i don't know..... so needless to say, I was so excited! I thought it was my LUCKY DAY.... there'd be NO WAY that I could wait ANOTHER 24 HOURS...!!!!!.....It was a little after 5. It's about 10 minutes to the UPS place, I packed up my 3 girls as quickly as I could & took off...... upon arrival there were a few delivery guys out in the yard, I explained MY DRASTIC situation, & one of the guys informed me that the deliverer for MY address would be returning in about a half-hour. I decided to take the girls through Mickey D's drive-thru, all the while my oldest daughter is shouting, "Is it JUST another car seat, mama....!!!!?.....Is it a BRITAX...??" And my 4 year old starts shouting, "Booster Seat Law, Booster Seat Law!!!!!!" (Yeah, I've got them all psyched about MN's new LAW going into effect 7/1.....! ) so, we get back to UPS, sit in the van awaiting the return of Mr. UPS man.... finally he returns...... I'm getting really, really excited to see our new PINK DREAM SEAT that will RF our "little" 2 year old to 40lbs, I pop the trunk open & turn to see the guy walking toward my van carrying JUST A STINKIN' WHITE ENVELOPE....!!!! WHAT'S THAT?!!!!! WHERE's the BIG BOx...???!!!! You mean, our new seat has not arrived?????!!!!!!!! Oh NOOOOO.....Oh well, the wait continues...... I know, last I heard it's due in JUNE sometime..... just hoping it comes early...!!!!!!......:cool:thanks for listening to my long RANT..... !!!!
