I'm still trying to find a booster for our friend's twins. Sadly, I'm not sure I can convince him to get to GN (for which, at LEAST one twin will still fit harnessed for another year or two) or other harness/booster combo.

Stats:
Twin E - 42" tall with a 15" torso and 30lbs
Twin B - 46" tall with a 17.25" torso and 40lbs

Vehicles:
Passat Wagon and Honda Element (either 2004/2005 models???)

They really want great cup holders and will keep them in highback boosters as long as possible. BUT, the harness fight may be lost. GN has awesome cup holders.. but again, not sure I can convince them to swing $130/seat (with twin discount and other promotions...we can easily find that price for GN).

I also recommended the Graco Turbobooster.

Please send me other high back booster recommendations. I don't spend much time in this realm of research... my children will stay harnessed for as long as possible. My oldest FF in her dad and grandparent's car - but RF in our minivan (she loves to be like her baby sisters :)).. I wish I could win the RF battle all around for her but am happy she is ERF 75% of the time.

Gosh, I'll let other people give you the rundown, but I have a TB and the cupholders seem pretty sturdy and decent on it.

How old are these twins? I am a little concerned about a 30-pound child in a booster unless they are older than I am expecting.

The turbobooster fits smaller children well. And the cupholders fold in and out, which my ds loves.

Though at 30 lbs, yeah, that kiddo needs a nautilus. :(

Oh, the twins will be 5 years old in September (so a little over 4.5 years old). Yes, the small twin is super light and I'm trying my darndest to push for her to continue to be harnessed. The seat they bought 4 years ago no longer fits her in harness mode... but does in booster mode. I've tried and tried to explain that there are several seats that have higher harness limits now .

Frankly, I'm glad I've convinced them to look at proper booster use AND headwings and talked them out of backless boosters. For kicks, I went to BRU today to do some more research for them and I really like the Turbo. The one with more padding (since these two children are extremely thin). I had my 3.5 yo sit in it and can see why some people would presume their children could ride safely in a booster at such a young age... it fit her like a glove (but again, no booster use in our house - besides my children are shrimps and I assume could stay harnessed until they were 12!). I found the cupholders to be very nice too and my DD could reach the space easily without extending forward agains the seatbelt.

Thank you for the input!
