It looks like it may feel like a coture. Or...I'm not sure. But it looks like it's not the plush?

I saw a really beat up one at a thrift store & it looked like an Onyx. It was shiny in the middle and sleek.:)

ETA: Darn'it - I stand corrected! It's the Racer that looks like an Onyx, not the Speedway.

No, that's racer. I have a dirty one of those too.

The checked pattern in the middle is cotton. It doesn't feel like the couture ones. The coutures are heavier feeling. Have you ever felt the freedom? It feels like that.

Are you getting that cover? That is one of the few I have wanted and not been able to get, yet. I think it would look awesome next to the Nautilus (the boring cover ones).

No, I haven't felt freedom. But I think I can imagine them in my head. And yes, I'm getting a Speedway. :)
