Is it worth it to get the PS vs the SI? I just need a stroller for the car, short walks around town when I don't want to use the Chariot, and Dr's apts (we spend 2-3 days every 2months or so at the hospital it seems. I've got a GC for TRU that brings the P3 close in cost to the SI elsewhere. I'm selling my other two strollers (not the Chariot though:D) and while things are tight right now, I'd rather spend a bit more on something that will have good resale, so am looking at the P3 or the S1. It's mainly for my 2yo son, but I like the option of the footrest on the P3 for DD2. How compactly does the P3 fold? If you could get them for close to the same price, which would you choose?

Thanks!

Hi there!

I have the P3 and I love it for the kiddie board on the back. My 3 1/2 year old loves it and it is a good way to keep him "contained" sometimes. At the hospital, he could hop on and you could zip right to where you need to go without holding hands, waiting for them to walk with you (sometimes they can be soooo slow:)) without having a full double for such little trip, and tight spaces. It also has the child tray, which I love....toss some cheerios on there, livesaver! Also check Albeebaby.com, altho' I know you said you have a GC, you can get last years model for about a $100 less!

I had a P3 and still have a Pliko Lite - which is basically the older version of the SI and I LOVE it. However, if you can get a P3 for about the same price I would get it for sure - you will appreciate the child tray and the toddler bar in the back. As far as fold - the P3 folds up very nicely in comparison to other big strollers. The SI will have a very similar fold but will just weigh a bit less.
