Where can I find a great price on Keen shoes for toddlers

Looking for 2 pairs of Keens (Newport H2s) for my toddler twins to wear to prechool/daycare this summer. Dont feel like paying $50 a pair, but they need a good solid shoe for running around and the day care is a "play and get dirty" kind of place with alot of water play. It requires a closed toe shoe as well.

Nordie's had them on sale last year in July, for about 30% off. Can't wait that long as they have outgrown last year's.

Nordstrom already have the sandals on their clearance racks for a lot of different brands. markdowns/discounts depends on which store you go to.

Checked out my Nordies near me. Nothing on the sale rack and the keens were full price. :(

i immediately thought of these. i just bought them for DD. they are a great alternative to Keen. They were $13.99 I think, but only went up to preschool sz. 10 or 11, IIRC.

Well, well, well, pleasant surprise - shoe buy gave me another 10% off for becoming a member - droppped the price to $32. Still expensive but the Keens are suh great quality and its the twins every day shoe for daycare in the summer. DOes anyone know if Shoebuy restocks frequently? In the cute girl colors they only had sizes 4 and 5.

Googled Buster Brown and saw the Keen style thay had very cute and a decent price at $26. Unfortunately the closest K-MART to me is a 45min drive in LA traffic.

I had a pinkish pair sitting in my cart all day because of this thread, but the extra 10% pushed in over the top :D

Now all 4 of my girls will have Keens :P
