I've been reading these boards for a little bit now and am really hoping for some advice!
I recently found out I am pregnant and due in December. My son will be 15 months old then... So I am starting to research double strollers!
My big issue is that I am needing a double stroller that will work for a newborn and fold compactly enough to fit in the backseat of my Chevy Malibu..along with the 2 car seats. I know it will be a tight fit but we can't afford a new car right now!
So far, I have found one that sounds like it would fit, the Combi Twin Sport. Does anybody know if there are others? Ideally we don't want to spend more than $400 (including the car seat and base) but there is always craigslist and I would look at suggestions in other price ranges also!

IT needs to fit in the backseat? Not the trunk?
I would look on Craigslist for a Maclaren Twin Techno or something similar.

It needs to fit in the backseat, unfortunately. My husband's wheelchair takes up most of the trunk, so thats not really an option...Does the Techno have a car seat adapter available?

the Maclarens do not have car seat adaptor. some models like the Techno recline flat so its safe for infants to sleep but it cannot take a car seat.
my graco duo glider could fit in the backseat in my corolla, when our car trunk was full. just for your reference
there are quite a few double strollers that could fit in the backseat.
the combi sport is really compact when folded and its nice for a 15mth old and newborn.
my boys are 12mths apart. I use convertibles for both of them so they have never used a infant car seat. my boys sleep fine since newborn in the Maclaren Techno.
I recommend the Twin Techno as well. That's what I have and it's worked out great. As has already been said, it doesn't work with a carseat, though. But honestly, I never found it necessary. It lays down near flat and works just fine for a newborn. Although we did use an infant seat for DS, I just left it in the car when I used the stroller. No big deal for me.

Do you really need it to fit in the backseat or did you mean the trunk? I have an '05 Malibu and I can fit a folded Mountain Buggy Urban Double in the trunk so I don't think you need to be too concerned about getting a stroller in there. The trunk is gigantic.
I've also fit a Baby Trend Sit N Stand Plus (the one with a removable rear seat that can turn into a sit n stand) in there with no problems. I bought that stroller specifically to get through the first winter when I knew I would want to keep DD in the infant seat when we were out running errands and then sold it last summer on CL for just a little less than I paid. There is a nicer, newer model at Target that I saw a few weeks ago.
