GMC LATCH limit?

We're getting either a 2005/06 GMC Yukon XL in a week. Does anyone know what the LATCH limit is? We've never owned GMC before. TIA!

My Dodge Grand Caravan manual says to follow the child restraint manual guidelines for LATCH limit- so I could technically use LATCH to whatever Britax allows for that vehicle, right?

I have a 2006 envoy xl and looovvvee it!!! The latch limit is 48lbs :) hope you love it as much as I do!!

Dodge has a 48 pound limit for LATCH. Since there's a discrepancy, I suggest that you go with the lower limit, to be on the safe side.

Since your Dodge has a 48 lb LATCH limit, you can use the Britax seat with LATCH up to 48 lbs. unless your Britax manual specifically states otherwise. :thumbsup: I believe that all of the recent and current Britax convertibles allow LATCH up to 48 lbs if the vehicle allows it. (Except the Roundabout or Diplomat, which have an overall weight limit of 40 lbs anyway.)
