Babies R Us - can I make this deal work

I've seen a few members that work at Babies R Us and wanted to know how I could work out this deal if I went to a local store:

I'm open to feedback on how to generate the greatest deal. I was thinking of only purchasing one Coccoro - but if I can combine some promotions and significantly lower the cost of the seats by buying two... I will seriously consider it.

I'm certain it's a long shot - but it is worth asking :whistle:

In mind: two Combi Coccoro seats

*I have twins and want to buy two carseats = 10% off each seat
*I have the 15% off ALL carseats coupon = 15% off each seat
*Can I order from the store and have free shipping? (save $36 from ordering online w/ship)?
*If I open a Toys R Us credit card, while at the store trying to process this order, does the 10% 1st in store purchase work if I add products from the online site (while at the store)?
*Can I combine all of the above?

I have the "membership" card that uses the point system and know that for every $150 I spend, I earn $5 'bucks'...so I know I can make up some of the lost promotion offers if I can't combine.

Whew, that was a mouthful and I know will be complicated at the store if it is even plausible!

Not sure they will do that. You can try.

I don't think so. You should be able to combine the 10% twin discount & the 10% credit card, but I don't think you can use the twin discount & 15% off coupon together.

My twins were born on April Fools Day :p 2008 as well! They are so much fun now!

There is also free shipping. Not a bad deal. :thumbsup:

BRU doesn't even carry the Coccoro in the store (at least not at my store...I wish we did!), and no you can't do anything like walmart's site-to-store shipping.
Though if you got that latest coupon booklet, it had 20% off carseats and the computer also accidentally allowed the 15% off any baby item on top of it, not sure if the online site would mess up on that detail but if it did, wow.

Baby Catalog only had three left in stock as of 1pm PST

I got the last Strawberry Shortcake and they estimate it might be another 2 to 3 weeks before the backordered one can ship!

Price was $147 plus change with the sale + code + ebates! I earned $5 ebates just for joining so that technically brought each seat to $145! :love:

i just wanted to add that it seems like the # of discounts that BRU will accept varies widely from store to store, so I don't actually know what "official" policy--nor do I want to find out, becasue apparently my local one is very lenient! my BF has twins, and she was able to combine at least 2 of the discounts in-store: the 10% twin discount, and a 15% coupon. she told me that specifically. but other stores may not be the same.

what's the deal with the rebates card for BRU? I don't know anything about that.

Toys R Us and Babies R Us have a REWARDS program. You earn $5 for every $150 spent at the store. Each period is a few months long.. I earned $15 last period and am just waiting for my reward$ so I can spend it. With 3 children 3 and under and adding purchases for a friend & a day care kid... it has proven to be beneficial this year :)

My local BRU said I could order the seat(s) at the store, earn the 10% off if I opened a card (which I doubt I'd do...but it is an option) and ordered at the same visit along with my 15% off coupon and 10% twin discount. BUT.. I already ordered from baby catalog and came out ahead because I didn't have to open a cc account or pay for shipping (plus I was supporting a car-seat.org sponsor).

When I placed two carseats in my shopping cart online and then applied the 20% coupon, it applied the discount to BOTH seats. 15% off total bill would be 15% of BOTH seats, by the way. Maybe it's different in store though?

Man! Too bad I just saw this I would have added you to my account (Military Membership) and you could have got an extra 10% off at Babycatalog! I use my membership + whatever the current 10% off code is together for a nice deal there.
