View Full Version : Volvo V70 vs V40

hey all, I have 3 kiddo's 1 booster and two in convertible car seats one RF one FF. I am looking at two Volvo's an 2000 V70 XC AWD and a 2000 V40 Wagon FWD.

Any thoughts?? :confused:

The V40 is tiny. I have a hard time imagining you could do 3 across in a V40. V70 is likely gonna be tight.

V70 all the way! I can fit 3 marathons in one! Also, some of them have those jump seats in the trunk for older kids.

Altho, I do wonder about the safety of those jump seats in the trunk.

Great thanks for the in put. We will be test driving the V70 tomorrow!

No jump seats in the trunk but it does have the built in booster seats...any thoughts on those?

I'm going to post in the car seat forum regarding seats too.

I have a V70 and researched it a lot before I bought it.

Volvo's are good but make sure you have service records on it and get an independant Volvo mech to look at it.

I stayed away from turbos and AWD
