I'm flying to visit family for a short trip with my boys, 2.5yo and 3mo, and trying to figure out how to arrange carseats for them with my sister's son in her 2007 Honda CRV. Her son is FF in a boulevard, and she has a Primo Viaggio I can use for my 3mo. I'm planning on taking my True Fit for my 2.5yo.
Does anyone know whether these 3 seats will fit in her car? And if they will, what the best setup would likely be?
If I can't get them to fit 3 across, is it possible to put one of them in the front seat (I'm petite, so I could then ride squished between the 2 seats in the back)?
I have a Companion I could take for the baby, if it would be better than the PV. Also, I have a Marathon I could take instead of the TF.
I could try to borrow a car from my uncle, but would really prefer to make this work.
Thanks much in advance!!

I'm not sure it will work with the seats that you have. I've got a 2008 CRV. I got the Como and an Uptown and then a snugride without the base. I had to install all with seatbelts to get them in. Latch moves the outboard seats further into the center and gives less room You can look in the 3 across thread to see what others have done. http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=33226
I know sometimes it helps if one seat is FF and another RF. It also helps if one seat is higher than another. Could your try installing your MA and your Companion without the base in your car now and see if the Companion is under the side of the MA? I know the Radian fits under the MA side, so those two seats puzzle well together, and maybe the MA/Companion do the same. Also see how your True Fit and Marathon and Companion go in your car - just check to see if they puzzle well together. Your MA and your sister's BV have the same shape, so you could see how they would work together. I don't think you can install the Primo Viaggio without the base, so I might take the Companion to give yourself another option. You have to play with the seats and the direction of the seat/placement of the seat to see if it will work.
I sometimes do 3 across with a friend, and we were fine until her DS#2 moved out of his infant seat at the same time her DS#1 went over 40lbs and into a Nautilus. I know the Radian would make it work in my car, but I didn't want to buy it because DS has plenty of room in the seats I already have for him. I could play with the seats that we have and I can probably get it too work, but it will take some time and effort. Instead I just bought a small Rider Safe Travel Vest. DS or his friend can wear it and be in the center position and I can get 2 carseats either side without a problem, as DS in the vest will only take up as much room as DS is wide. We've got some upcoming travel where I can use the vest as well.

I have little to add, aside from the suggestion that you may have more luck with the MA and I would probably take that instead of the TF. The TF is just WIDE. Is your 2.5yo FF or RF?
I would rather go out and buy a new narrower seat rather than put one of the kids up front, they are so young.

Thank you for your replies. I will try the Companion and MA in my car to see how they fit together. I'll be taking the MA with me, but I looked on Peg Perego's site, and it states that you can install without the base with the seatbelt, so I may not need to take the Companion.
Does anyone know how similar in shape/size they Primo Viaggio and the Companion are?
My 2.5yo is FF, at 31 pounds (No flames, please. He's just happier that way.) Though if the MA would only fit with him RF, I would do that.
Our budget is very tight at the moment, and we aren't in a position to purchase another seat.

Good luck with the installing - I hope they puzzle well together!
