I'm VERY curious now, because having seen the BRU version in person, and now seeing pics of the Wal-Mart version, I've realized that Patina Bloom is the only one I know of that has 3 fabrics on the seat--2 solids & 1 pattern. I'm wondering what it looks like without the infant insert. The others I've seen have patterned fabric on the sides of the seat, unlike Patina Bloom. If I look closely at the pics, it almost looks like there is NO pattern left anywhere on the seat, once you remove the infant insert and head pillow--except the tiny piece over the harness adjuster! If that's the case, it would really annoy me to have that one, tiny piece of patterned fabic, and the rest of the seat be solid pink and brown.....anyone seen it w/o the insert?

Hmm...I suspect maybe you're right. Kind of like the Symphony.... it's pattern is only on the infant insert. Leaving the girly seat pretty much just black.

Bryan.... which seat did you see in person??

i wondered if the symphony was like that, when i saw pics online....that's dumb! why would they do that? you use the seat without the insert much longer than with it--esp. for a seat with a 40/65# limit! It also makes me think that it will lead to misuse, because parents will leave the "pretty" part in the seat, even when they're not supposed to use it any more.

I think you're right. :( I  alma, if I had a girl, I would deffinately get that one. The print looks like it is everywhere underneath the infant insert :)
