Ok so I'm always sper jealous when new seats come out because I feel like it takes them forever to reach my stores but the MR65 is in the building at my BabiesRus and there were 9 boxes! I can only hope they sell out fast and 9 beautiful children in my area will be that much safer :)

First impressions (no kids, measuring tape or camera) since I was super excited as I honestly didn't plan to be over by there or for them to have it even as I walked down the isle...

1) couldn't get the "feet" to flip for rear facing. is there a trick?
2) labeled very well including info about AAP encouraging ERF
3) ugly but I could live. I would be very annoyed with the cover...it kept sliding off
4) deep sides made me think it was the same shell height as the EFTA but I turned them back to back & it seems shorter. same w/ the MA. but all sbs they're very similar.
5) would love to see all the colors lined up like the Britax/Evenflo but with better price/limits
6) harness is smooth
7) seat is pretty light (compared to RN)lol
8) cupholders are huge and add to ugly look & narrowness
9) won't puzzle w/ MA or Nauti...need to check TF & infant seats on base
10) did I mention it rear faces to 40#s!!!!! I'm not in love but will love to reccommend it & play w/ it (might get one for DGS2) but still crossin my fingers that the ARB TF goes to 40 cuz thatll definately win :)

I'm going to get back there this weekend to take pics w/ some kids, PROMISE

No trick to the feet, just give a good yank. They flip inward toward the middle.
That must have been so awesome to walk down the aisle and see that!

In MD as in Maryland? I want to go see- I wish I had a real need for one, but according to J's growth curve, she wont outgrow the Comfort Sport rear facing until she is over 3! Even B at 4 years and 5 months has just outgrown it forward facing- his shoulders are just even with the top slot/slightly over it.

I went to Buy Buy Baby today to see if they had any plans for it- they told me to look at the Roundabout 50 because it rear faces that long and they though the Radian did too :( I nicely educated the two store clerks that the MR was the only seat right now to rear face until 40 lbs, and thought it would be a good addition to their collection. They said they prefer Britax, and again pointed to the Roundabout. Oh well...

I would expect all the BRUs in Md have them. I got mine there (and I'm in MD). I think I heard someone had one at a seatcheck today....was that you?

I have pics to show how to flip the seat on my blog. www.carseatnanny.blogspot.com

did they HAVE a RA50 already? it thought it wasn't yet released.

Also, BRU in nearby Chantilly, (NOVA) has the MR65. prob. all the big ones in VA do.
