Okay, have to get 4 in my Highlander. On Sat I need 3 FF and 1 RF (MAYBE i could make one of the FF a RF...depends on how much the 3 y/o weighs, he is around the same size as my 36 pound 2 y/o). Next week I will need 2 RF and 2 FF.

Saturday's Kids:
C 36lbs 38" GN in 3rd row
A 51lbs, 44" GN passenger side (he recently broke his arm and can't buckle himself otherwise he would have been in the back!)
S1 20lbs RF RN center
S2 ?lbs ~37" 3 years FF MA driver's side...might put him RF if he is light enough

See the pictures. The MA and GN seem to lean toward the buckle of the seatbelt no matter how hard I lean on the other side when buckling them. All seats are tight independent of each other and no more than 1" movement at the belt path. I know the RN isn't tethered yet...I'm still looking for my D ring! I am wondering about the gap under the Radian though. Maybe when my kids get home I'll have A lay in it while I try to tighten some more? I have never added images before...let's hope this works!

Sorry...trying to resize but photobucket and I are having a fight right now. It doesn't want to show me the whole editing screen!

ETA: Okay, should be coming up good now

Well, I can tell you right now you're going to have to get a crate for the cow and tie it down in the bed of your pick up :p

The only thing that's jumping out at me, as you noted, is the Radian. That is definitely not right. Did you install it before you installed the other two? Does it lie flat on the seat when the other two seats aren't next to it? Is it being pushed up by the vehicle seats in front?

I have learned from experience that the center seat has to be installed first. So, yes, it was installed before the other 2. I actually moved the front seats up just a bit to make sure they would not be a problem wtih the RN. The picture doesn't show it well, but the bottom closest to the passenger side IS on the seat. The picture angle was taken from the driver's side. The Radian is on the 60 part of the seat and on the edge of the 60/40 there is a rise in the seat...the radian is on that part. Then the vehicle seat dips down a bit...hence the radian not resting on the seat bottom. I have also noticed that both the MA and RN do tilt to buckle side since they are both seatbelt installs. The RN seatbelt buckle is also passenger side which isn't helping! Any suggestions? The kids aren't home so I can go out there and yell at the seats :)

ETA: Let me know if you need more pictures of anything.

UPDATE: It is 95 degrees outside. I broke a nail. But, the Radian is now all the way down on both sides (yes, I had to reinstall EVERYTHING!). But, it is all in now. I was able to kneel specifically on the one side that was pulling up while I tightened and finally got it in. Did the same thing on the MA (knelt on the side away from the buckle) so there is a bit less of a tip on that one now too.

I think I'm good. And we'll see how much of a PITA it is to get C buckled in the back to determine if I need to put the KF in A's GN spot next week (and hope that A fits in the MA cuz I don't know if the GN will fit there....OR A could use his turbo.
