I have the GN in the TransAm when checking movement its done lightly right at the belt path? I can not move it side to side or front to back when I lightly try but I can pull the GN forward I think its more then an inch its really hard to tell if I take both hands on the belt path and pull if forward and then push it back? Then its over hangs the seat but maybe an inch which is not acceptable for the GN?

It installed right if I can use 1 hand and lightly try to move it and it doesnt move or moves less then 1 inch?

If you can pull the seat forward more than an inch, it's not a correct install. Also, the Nauti allows for absolutely no over hang, unfortunately.

Is it pulling with both or 1 hand I have read that is only one hand checking for movement ? I am confused. If its any way then Im stuck with out a seat for this whole week and will not be able to get back home either? There is no other car. I had to go out of town and I checked lightly before leaving my house yesterday and it didnt move?

The Graco Nauti often does have the problem of slipping forward, and I doubt you are doing it by using excessive, super-human, 300 lb firefighter strength. If you as an average woman can grab the seat at the belt path and move it forward more than an inch, even if you're using 2 hands, the install isn't good.

Have you tried dropping the recline foot before installing?

Regardless, though, if there is overhang, the seat will not work in that vehicle.

Putting the recline foot down so its reclined or up so its not reclined?
so great then 2 hr plus trip over here yesterday dd was unsafe and I have no way to transport her safely home in 9 days. The only option for this car is a RSTV then and I dont have the money for one I doubt that I can get it here before I have to leave on the 22nd. Dh has to work on the weekend so I wont be able to have him come get us either. Shes not old enough for a booster either. Why oh Why couldnt the US cargos be rated to 47 lbs that seat fits wonderful in the car and dd is 42lbs.

TransAm is not our normal car. Its my grandmas. I had already decided on a RSTV for this trip but couldnt afford it. I dont see any other HW seat working here either. Anything wider then the GN is too wide.
They had to go out of town and I am house sitting for them to watch their dogs. Our normal cars the GN workd just fine in.
I can try the seat reclined but I think it will hang over.
GN is our main seat I wouldnt sell it just for 1 more trip in this car. Next time we may have to use the TransAm I will have the RSTV. It will be at least 4 more months until then. I just dont know how we are going to get home now.
