I have a Vivo for a backup seat that I'm having trouble with. It's either in my Corolla or grandma's Camry.
I cannot get the belt to stay in the red guide.
It slips out no matter what I do. Do I have to use it? The shoulder belt fits great without being in the guide.
If I do have to use it - any suggestions for keeping it in place?
Thanks

Yes, you must use the guide. Have you tried switching to a different seating location in the vehicle?

In the Camry it might be helpful to remove the vehicle headrest behind the Vivo (assuming this is allowed by Recaro, I'm pretty sure it is ok but check the Vivo manual just to be sure). In my Camry, the headrest pushes the booster''s top forward just enough to make the belt slip out of the belt guides on many boosters. Just keep the headrest in the trunk so it is available for non-booster people if they ride in that spot.

Also, the Vivo is designed so that you can adjust the recline of the back to best fit the seat your car. I think there is 3 settings. Did you try any adjustments with that?

Thanks for the suggestions.
I've tried both the center and the other side. Neither work any better.
I've tried recline it before, and it wouldn't stay that way. As soon as my son climbed in, it went back up.
I'll try removing the headrest - right now its at grandmas.
