Evenflo Symphony Seat fit on Southwest?

I have an Evenflo Symphony car seat that I love & my 14mth son loves it too. We are gearing up for a busy travel summer & it occured to me that the car seat may not fit in an airplane seat because it is a rather large seat. I am not thrilled about the idea of buying another seat just to travel with...
Has anyone with a Symphony seat done air travel with it? How did it go?
Any suggestions?

I don't own a Symphony, but I have seen it in person. I believe it would fit just fine. I've flown several times with my Marathon rearfacing, and never had a problem with it. I don't remember the Symphony being bigger than the marathon.

You may have to put the armrest up in order to install it. But I think it would fit just fine.
