How well does the Team Tex Babyride really fit preemies? I know someone that was looking for a seat for her 4 pound preemie coming home this weekend. She can't afford a KF, and I know they fit littles well. I do have an unused BabyRide sitting here. I saw it was on the list posted in another thread. I'm measuring the lowest harness at 7.5ish. It looks to have a really big crotch area too. This will be a loaner seat until he packs on some more pounds.

Also, anyone happen to know how much this would sell for?

LOL, no one's seen a tiny baby in this seat?

Could she afford a Via?

I have....it does not fit them well in my experience. Honestly the fit is equal to (if not worse than) the ol' Snugride. I have found that the Assura fits the teeny babies better.

I have a Via and LOVE it. It fits little bitties really well! :)

The bottom harness slots are around 5.5-6".

Maybe somebody can confirm this, but I seem to remember that the Combi's were a good fit for bitties too. Walmart has one for $90.

Am I correct that the Assura can't be bought at a store? Where can we get one in the Baltimore area? Baby is at St. Joe's and Mom seems to think he'll be coming home this weekend.

Don't think I've ever seen a Via in stores. Are there any that sell it? (off to look at websites for it now).

The Via is available online, but it is not cheap.

I have a gently used Via that I would be willing to send out for shipping. It was donated by a family that bought it for a preemie, and wanted it to go to a family in the same stuck position as they were.
