View Full Version : Where can I try out a regent in Dallas-Fort Worth?

Our local BRU does not carry them. I don't know of a baby store that carries them. Or is there anyone who lives in the DFW area who would let me try out a regent. I need to install it and put my daughter in it, so I can compare it to a Frontier. I have heard people say that they lose enough harness height in the regent that it's almost the same as the Frontier. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

I don't know but maybe someone else does. If you can't find one anywhere my SIL in Anna has one (we bought it for our niece) but she has a pretty busy schedule.

I don't think they lose quite that much harness height in most vehicles. I'd say probably about 1/2 an inch in most cars, making it still about a 19 1/2 inch height.

The babies R us in Mesquite carries them...at least they used to, since that is where we got ours.

If you can't find anyone in Dallas, I might be able to meet you in Canton or someplace else midway between my house and Dallas (I don't think my DH wants me driving to Dallas just for carseats). If I could even get my hands on another Monterey booster pretty soon, I may be ready to sell one of my regents if you are still interested.

So I got my hands on a regent. I love this seat. Though I haven't put it in a car or anything. I would love to meet up with you sometime Celtic for help with install. Because of my very limited experiences with Regents, I'd love a CPST to help me out with it. It will be at least another week before I have a car though. I'll pm you when I have a car and we can work from there.Thanks!
