Well, I went and got a true fit finally for dd2. She kept complaining that the Avenue "hurt her bottom". All I needed was 1 excuse  So here is
dd2 28lbs. and a little boy I watch who is 10mo. in the true fit:

I just love the way that seat looks, your dd is cute! She has long legs, my kids are jealous. :) AJ says the same thing about his bottom when he uses the Apex.

Do you mind if I ask about the manufacture date on it?

Ya, I really love the look of the true fit and I love the deep sides  You can see the difference compared to the avenue:

Looks great, we  ours! So can you use the 3rd slot for rear facing on the newer ones then?

Wow. Her legs are TALL on the seat in the Avenue!

Ya, she usually put her legs to the side of the avenue. I really liked the avenue, the harness adjustor was a PITA at first but then I got used to it and learned some tricks. So, the buried harness adjustor in the true fit is cake!

I believe you can rear face on the 3rd slot on all of the true fits. I remember that being a big conversation last year. Hopefully someone else will chime in. In my manual it does say that you can rf on the 3rd slot

she's so leggy... I think the extra leg room was reason enough for her... Ruthie never had that problem as she's much shorter in the leg...

AWww. What a teeny little 10 month old. :)

And like everyone else said, you dd is very leggy! She looks much more comfy in the true fit. Looks like it was a great buy.

Great pics :) We love out new TF too. WHERE did you get it from??? I'm so jealous as ours is 3/08 DOM.

We just got two of those Misty Mornings ;) We  them as well. G-ma was very anti-ERF because she didn't think it was "comfy" DD1 but when she saw how much leg room she had in the TF, she dropped the argument. We bought ours from BestBuyBaby and got 10/08 DsOM. I agree, the buried harness adjuster isn't as annoying as I had anticipated; neither is the continuous harness.

Just my local BRU, ran in and ran out :D I honestly don't even look at the DOM of the seats there because the supervisor for the car seat section is a member here!!

It's retroactive. Slots 1-3 can be used RF on all True Fits.

I have one too, also Misty Morning. I LOVED it at first, then after a few days started to think the harness was a hassle, but now that I've fiddled with it and figured out how to tighten the harness by pulling the straps from the back, it's really no big deal. :) I do love the seat!

37" tall and 13.5" torso for dd2
I'm not sure about my 10mo. but he's pretty tiny
